Palmer - a band persistently forging their sound towards perfection for the last 16 years. This Swiss quartet is no typical four-four time metalcombo straight off the rack. Palmer’s sound oscillates somewhere between post-metal and prog-rock with spherical timbres. This band works intuitively and without restraints and their creations reflect an energy of immediate presence.
The new album ‘Surrounding The Void’ contains 9 songs that boast originality. Inspired by different niches from the world of extreme metal, prog-rock, jazz and ambient sounds, Palmer have always followed their own distinct path, continually looking towards the future and pursuing their own individual Soundscape.
‘Surrounding The Void’ reflects Palmer’s typical aspects such as tension, relief and extreme dynamics. These core aspects are imminent on the new album and seem even more mature and distinct.
NEW ALBUM "SURROUNDING THE VOID" OUT NOW!

PROGRESSIVE MUSIC PLANET (UK):
«Surrounding the Void is an album that has a lot going on. I love that I’ve heard more things each time that I’ve listened to it, and I plan on listening more and more!.»
NevBorn, based in West Switzerland, is a band that has never stopped to evolve, change and expand. After their first few demos, they released their first album “Five Horizons” in 2015 on Hummus Records. Following several line-up changes, the band is now composed of five different but determined minds, who draw inspiration from numerous genres. NevBorn’s music has been described “a heavy/ambient amalgam” and a “combination of post sounds (hardcore, metal and rock)”. The new, more aggressive aspects of their sound further the twisting of listener’s senses by mixing emotions of all kinds. Working throughout the last year, NevBorn finally reveal their new project “Daídalos”, for which they signed both on Cold Smoke Records and Czar Of Bullets. “Daídalos” is a one-track concept EP based on the myth of Icarus’ death. Featured by Loïc Rossetti (The Ocean), they imagined and recreated the conversation between Icarus and his father, Dædalus, in the legendary Minotaur maze. The 18-minute piece envisions the emotional range of both heroes’ history, from pure anger to complete ataraxy.
NEXT RELEASE UP IN FALL 2017 ON CZAR OF BULLETS AND COLD SMOKE RECORDS
ARCHAIC TRIAD (USA):
«Daidalos is a clever, emotional and at times quite aggressive piece of music that is sure to win the band a whole bunch of fans..»
AVE NOCTUM (UK):
«A highly charged yet potently emotive post-hardcore sonic annihilation.»
Wonderbox Metal (UK)
«Daidalos is a finely realised and well-honed creation from a clearly talented bunch of people. It’s definitely something that you should listen to, and I heartily recommend that you do.»
